delete from beginning as:

arr.splice(0, 1024)

tested on 200k and 400k data points.

on safari / firefox it runs consistently at < 1ms.

but on chrome it runs respectively at around 10ms and #20ms.

this doesn't block rendering, but if data chunk callbacks are faster, it might be a problem.
