Configure Fedora (Infinispan) to write to Amazon S3 as primary storage. Note the impact this has on the Fedora system.

Goal:
Determines if Amazon S3 can be used as a direct storage system under Fedora in the base configuration

Comment by @anarchivist : I'd also be curious to evaluate EFS as part of this, which is currently in AWS preview in us-west-2

Comment by @bbranan: I agree that the promised utility of EFS is fantastic. My concern is that its cost is quite high compared to other AWS storage options ($300/mo/TB vs $30/mo/TB for the most expensive S3 tier.) It's hard to imagine paying that price for primary storage, though EFS may be a good fit in other places.
