Sorry for the noobness, but should this work?

gabba.set_custom_var(index, 'cookieDomain', 'none', scope)

I'm trying to do this in order to send ga data from localhost for testing per:
https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/advanced#localhost
