Do you use an OS based on debian buster? |
Yeah, i did should i go with a different OS and try again? |
yes, please. |
Solution:
|
Is this required for all Pi's with Debian 10 to prevent this issues? Is there a specific source for that and why it's "broken" now? |
@brindosch Ich denke nicht. Hab nur mal auf die schnelle das ganze mit Raspbian Buster Lite versucht und bekam den gleichen Fehler. |
That's not a good sign at all :) |
I was using the latest raspbian lite, however ive now installed OSMC. I have this all running now which is great however im running into a new error:
Not sure what this means at all, but thanks for the assistance so far! |
config please! |
|
how did you install hyperion? |
The usual way from the wiki , and running the bin/hyperiond command at the end |
It seems to be a network specific qt problem. I get the error message "No carrier" under OSMC. Just like your error message, search on the internet usually results in the connman library as a result. edit: Link: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-57844 |
well, i managed to set it up as a service and load on start up, and i don't appear to be getting the error anymore. Everything seems to be working fine now! thanks very much for your help |
Hi, I tried the solution from above, but still get this error:
Do I have to do something extra? Like compile again. Best Regards, Johannes |
Do I have to do something extra? |
Thanks for your quick response. Yes, I did a restart, but unfortunately with the same result. Btw.: Is it correct that the files are copied to /opt/opt/vc ? Or would /opt/vc be correct. Anyway, I tried both with no luck. |
I noticed the same error when running in multi-user mode. After switching to graphical it calmed down. |
hm, this started popping up on my setup as well on Vero4K+ |
I have bought a Raspberry Pi 4 and can confirm that this problem is eliminated by commenting out / creating the entry "hdmi_force_hotplug = 1" in the config.txt. |
Congratulations. This should be added to the readme (and install scripts?) somewhere :)
|
Is it possible to read the config.txt and check if the value is available with suitable hardware?
Unfortunately, I only own a monitor. I can not test dual output.
I'll see what it looks like |
There is a snippet from the pi guys to detect Pi versions in a script As we already add the SPI line it should be a copy&paste thing |
Hi
I've tryed a fresh isntall of Hyperion.ng
It all works okay and im able to sync the lights however I get spammed with:
About 10 per second.
example: https://gyazo.com/dac3e12bf1b12431a346677477091121
In the error log, and sometimes it casues the pi to crash after about 5 minutes and i have to reboot it.
Did i do anything wrong in the setup?
