Feature request

What problem does this feature solve?

Currently, devices do not always handle the situation properly, if hyperion is

  • resumed after being suspended (e.g. CoreElec)
  • enabled after a longer time and a device's state is not known/defined
(e.g. Philips Hue or Nanoleaf was turned off or used otherwise).

How should this be implemented in your opinion?

  • Clear differentiation between starting and stopping a device
  • When switching on a device (after disable device, disable hyperion or system suspend),
open the device and/or set appropriate device mode (for REST-Devices).

Are you willing to work on this yourself?

I already started.
