Description

As a user of Besu, I would like access to in-protocol deposits, to allow for more thorough pruning of chain-data and potential improvements to checkpoint sync. With in-protocol access to deposits, my Besu node can start a sync after the deposit contract, and can prune older chain data and still get what I need to stake.

  • Prototype in Besu
  • Acceptance of EIP-6110
