Using Brave 1.32 we've had reports of incorrect annotations showing up on both https://osf.io/y4nep/ and https://osf.io/preprints/metaarxiv/juwck. I am not able to replicate with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. The annotations appearing on those two pages belong to other documents. Most likely they are the showing the annotations which, through document equivalence, are associated with the home pages of the various OSF journals.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
In Brave, on https://osf.io/preprints/metaarxiv/juwck, /search/ is performed twice:
https://hypothes.is/api/search?limit=50&sort=created&order=asc&_separate_replies=false&group=__world__&uri=urn:x-pdf:94be293b5ec53555ff9e36c7a21cf50510ce75f75be669632c3c71d153732854&uri=https://osf.io/

Note that in both cases the PDF fingerprint is associated with https://osf.io.
In Chrome for that site, search only runs once and is (emphasis mine):
In Brave, on https://osf.io/y4nep/ the results are:

In Chrome the search is:

We saw similar issues with Safari 14 and in Chrome. OSF investigated and generated an explanation of this this happened. Long-term Hypothesis has two issues to act on, to allow publishers to override document metadata and to create an admin tool to allow us to fix document equivalence issues.
