It is launching. I can see the active process and can hear it. There is just no window. |
please restart (to clear the existing clients) and try to open it again while listening to the socket |

I'm having what I think is the same issue in GW2 (another game running in Xwayland). This all started after the recent performance enhancements. I will add some logs etc to this ticket. |

I wouldn't call it fixed. I got my particular thing working, but hyprland dropping applications without an actual error is a real issue. |

Description
I'm not 100% sure this is a bug or something misconfigured.
The Game is technically launching correctly, but is on workspace -1. I have no idea how to get to it. Same thing happens in Gamescope, even on a separate TTY
I can launch it (properly) on my deck running the same Arch build with KDE-wayland instead of Hyprland.
hyprctl monitors:
hyprctl workspaces:
hyprctl clients: (relevant PID)
rest of clients if somehow important
How to reproduce
above is for dx11 game launch.
vulkan version fails to fetch displays and wont launch.
