🦟 Describe the bug
Hi, first of all, thank you so much for this app. I noticed when merging german subtitles (.de) the formatting gets messed up.
As an example: "Ö" turns to "ö"
I believe this has to do with UTF/ISO

I have checked with a few other languages as well, but couldn't find any similar issue with them.
