Air conditioner with decimal step

Hi
I am using this plugin with a decent rate of success.
What is bothering me is that, in order to send appropriate commands regarding the temperature, since I cannot set a decimal step, I resorted to a 10 times multiplier for all temperature related settings (Celsius):
Min Temperature: 160
Max Temperature: 310
Min Temperature Steps: 5

Also, I receive a warning in the log that could be related:
[homebridge-tuya] This plugin generated a warning from the characteristic 'Current Temperature': characteristic value expected valid finite number and received "undefined" (undefined). See https://homebridge.io/w/JtMGR for more info.

In homekit app,the current temperature is showing a normal temperature (eg 23,0 C degrees), but the cooling or heating settings are multiplied by my plugin configurations (eg cooling at 220 C or heating at 260 C)

Is there any setting or plugin change that could acomodate a decimal temperature functionality?

The air conditioner is Daewoo DAC-12CHSDW.
