Instructions for Windows.txt

If you are Windows, you won't be able to launch the launch.sh file (only works on mac)

So in this file, we will see how can you make ADWY still work.

Ensure python runs directly from command line.

Go to the adwy-master folder and type

python parser.py

You should see the mean number of messages you have sent to people and then step by step analysis messages

Finally when this step ends, a data.json file will be generated.

Launch a http server by typing

python -m SimpleHTTPServer

if on Python 2

python -m http.server

if on Python 3

Now open localhost:8000 on Chrome and tada, it should work

Common errors

If any of your friends has a non unicode character in their names, some output will fail and will display charmap codec error. Fix it by running this in Command Prompt

chcp 65001
set PYTHONIOENCODING=utf-8

then start parser.py
