{{site.data.keyword.cos_full_notm}} is a highly scalable cloud storage service, designed for high durability, resiliency and security. See {{site.data.keyword.cos_full_notm}}.

You must define {{site.data.keyword.cos_full_notm}} as the service instance home in which custom application libraries (library sets) and Spark history events are stored. Additionally, you can use {{site.data.keyword.cos_short}} to store your data files as well as your application or job binaries, for example Spark Python files.
