We were all on Thanksgiving break. That was the reasons for our non-response. Yes, when working with MOOSE related projects, it will be necessary to always load and remain in the environment which gets "loaded" when performing the following commands: module purge
module load apps site/tinkercliffs/easybuild/setup
module load apps site/tinkercliffs-rome/easybuild/setup
module load OpenMPI CMake
export CC=mpicc CXX=mpicxx FC=mpif90 F90=mpif90 F77=mpif77
mamba activate python-stackAfter performing the above, then you may continue to build MOOSE (which you've done already), run MOOSE (which you've already done), and then build your application, and then test your application. And of course finally, when you use your application to solve problems. All of this must be done while inside the above the environment. As for the GitHub issue, I find it helps to use 'git' protocol instead of 'https' protocol when pushing to your remote GitHub account. This involves creating an SSH key pair, for which GitHub supplies way better instructions than I ever could on how to do that. Just a quick question. can i replace the module purge with module reset anytime I try to load my environment? Found this on my school's cluster website- "Some key system software, like the Slurm scheduler, are included in default modules. This means that module purge can break important functionality. Use module reset instead." |
