This project is insanely cool and useful. There are some quirks, namely B&W output (color would be more useful), occasionally files will not work, or the spec will be drawn halfway through and then empty, but bottom line is WOW and THANK YOU. Working perfectly for most FLACs, WAVs and MP3s.
I will be using this a whole lot, as the machines I'm using mainly still run Mojave and High Sierra. As a dev this would be unthinkable years ago, but today there is just way too much crap in Catalina to make it viable. I hope Apple revisits their insane app permissions and restrictions that break quicklook plugins in the next OS.
I would happily pay for this on the App Store and I know many others who would too. I hope there is a way to continue development. It should be possible to get this to work on Catalina for FLAC much in the way QLVideo works on MKV. I'm going to take a stab at it.

Great! Glad to hear you're finding it useful, and thanks for the feedback. All of my machines are now sadly running Catalina as I need to stay up to date for work reasons. So if you make any progress at all on Catalina, please let me know, as I would personally really like to continue using (and developing) this.

Well, it is up to Apple to allow users to override standard filetypes as before. But it should be possible for nonstandard (ie FLAC) like this: Marginal/QLVideo#63 (comment)
