Missing artifacts due to JCenter shutdown

Hi there,

I'm using this lib with pleasure in https://github.com/meikpiep/gauguin - there is one problem: Currently, the lib is deployed to JCenter repo only and JCenter repo was finally shutdown. I did a workaround to include a local copy from the lib into my code repo, but this is no real solution.

Are there any plans to publish this lib to Maven Central? I could help if needed.

Would be nice to read any feedback, as the last release is from 2018 - I could update some libs via Pull Request if wanted. :-)

FYI: The workaround with a local copy does not fit the F-Droid build process, so I just removed this lib from my app temporary. I will try to get a working fork without any JCenter dependencies, would be glad to get this merged into this repo.
