With cx-Freeze 6.6 nothing happens. When built with 6.7 it returns _tkinter.TclError: Can't find a usable init.tcl in the following directories: then a path of various directories. The first one (the intended path) has the characters replaced with ???. The rest have the correct name for some reason.

Seems like if I set TCL_LIBRARY to a relative path, it works.

This should hopefully be fixed in c3448c3 but leaving open just in case.
