Custom icon does not change color on dark theme switch

Hello,

via data/icons.yaml I added icon from Fonts Awesome project - hextra navbar icons use it, too - right? - and have observed a bug - on theme icon do not inverse it color.

As I know, in case of favicon, hextra or hugo generates "light" favicon version - does similar mechnism exists for navbar icons?

I have also found that custom icon do not change color if toggle theme color switcher.

no, navbar icons are not from Font Awesome. I believe the custom icons you added have hard-coded filling color thus it won't automatically change when the theme changes

To fix this, you can use CSS media queries (like @media (prefers-color-scheme: dark)) to manually adjust the icon color based on the theme. Unfortunately, Font Awesome icons don’t automatically change color when the theme switcher is toggled unless you implement custom styling for it.
