This was a few months ago. I'm not sure if https://github.com/incompl/cloak/wiki/GettingStarted was finished when we were discussing this. Does the current getting started guide work for this? How can it be improved? @Cheeseen

Yep, apologies.

I think theres definitely some gaps and barriers in the current getting started section.

• Have a boilerplate html for the client side (requiring socket.io/underscore/cloak-client), or perhaps a bower installable but that might be too far.
• More detailed walkthrough of cloak, perhaps implement basic lobby/chat/game features.

I can work on a more detailed walkthrough but have a lot of commitments at the moment so wouldn't be able to guarantee it to be done soon.
