Popover animation laggy #24

The animation appears to be very laggy, as if the framerate would be around 15fps.

What version OS are you running. I started to see some problems on 10.10. (In fact, moving to 10.10 caused a crasher so I have fallen back to NSPopover).

I see this also on 10.10

I didn't check it in 10.10 yet, but I discovored this issue on 10.9
