Extremely high storage usage #4798

Upgraded to last night's build to address the verbose logging issue for the OpenTSDB plugin #4790. However, I am now seeing space being used up at an alarming pace. within the last 8 hours, over 25GB of storage has been used up.

Closing as high storage utilization was due to inadvertent change in metrics collection,
