Late response and you might have find your answer already. This is not an actual problem it is just how IPv6 addressing works.
All leading zeros in every octet are not displayed, for example if you have this piece of address 0021:0001:0abd:0201 are the same as 21:1:abd:201. If this would be a valid address ofc.

I have faced the issue on ipv6 address has change to another format after I have used sdk to insert into infoblox server.
for example, I add the ipv6 address is like
240e:0978:d02:0403:58:0201:0228
and I will find the result on infoblox server
240e:978:d02:403:58:201:228
Could you please give me some advice on how to format the ipv6 address to be same with infoblox sever
