I want to start relayer relay messages, and relay between two substrate chains, I want to ask, in the existing herms start listening to the event part should not be modified?
Or are you working on a relayer that is compatible with substrate nodes?

@DaviRain-Su

Far as I know, this wouldn't work, because the needed bits haven't been put in place on the Substrate side, and because all the software interfaces would be different.

You. may want to look into the cdot project.

Just to emphasize Jacobs' point: the relayer has no support to communicate over the APIs of substrate chains.

We have started a more general discussion here #1318 regarding support for non-SDK chains.
