Hi, everyone. Here are some useful resources that I just got from Dataverse technologists.
The Search API will expose file IDs and download URLs like this:
Please see http://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/api/search.html
We can also get a list of file IDs from the feed of file entries in a SWORD statement: http://guides.dataverse.org/en/latest/api/sword.html#display-a-dataset-statement
Finally, there's an experimental API call at IQSS/dataverse#1717 that is related to the ticket Kevin mentioned at IQSS/dataverse#1795 but they haven't deployed this to https://apitest.dataverse.org yet.
Please also see http://community.dataverse.org/community-groups/api.html
