Follow-up ticket to #1197

Opening an untrusted workspace folder for the first time sometimes crashes the python extension. The current workaround is to restart VS Code.

  • Check if this issue has been fixed in the python extension (relevant discussion here
  • If it hasn't been fixed, implement a proper solution. (Detect the python extension crash and tell the user to restart vs code ?)
