I really like the recent update featuring programming ligatures, but they can only be enabled by toggling on ss01. I understand that not everyone wants ligatures, and it's good to have them be opt-in, but unfortunately, some software (notably Xcode) doesn't allow you to toggle stylistic sets. I've tried programs that allow you to "freeze" OpenType features, but they don't work very well for this. (OpenType Feature Freezer cannot freeze features with ligatures at all, only singular alternate characters, and the 'FontFreeze' web app produces incorrectly labelled weights that won't select properly in macOS.)
It'd be very helpful to have a separate variant of the font that has ligatures on by default, so that it can be used in programs without OpenType feature support.
