issue zippering 2 series together in scatter chart

this can be seen whenever the X and Y series of the 3d plot have a different number of timestamped data points

the current implementation is brain-dead simple and just trims the larger to the smaller's size and then iterates thru presuming one arr's timestamp for each x,y point
