Thank you for your interest. As the second step I recommend you to try draw the scale on one (or four) of the InVesalius screens. See this example: |

Hello @paulojamorim,
I am Vimukthi Pahasara from Sri Lanka. I am a second-year student at the University of Moratuwa studying Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering degree program. I am interested in contributing to the adding scale in 2D/3D viewer project.
I think the rulers are very much needed for viewers to understand the sizes of slices quickly without using the linear measurement tool. Open-source medical software like invesalius is required to provide health services in developing countries. That is one reason I am interested in contributing to the invesalius organization.
I am comfortable with multiple programming languages, including Python, C, C++, Java, Assembly and PHP. I also have a good background in advanced mathematics, including geometry.
I have built the source as mentioned in the first step and tested various features of invesalius with the help of the manual. I will upload the screen recording to google drive and send an email with a link soon. As the second step, a sample code relevant to the project is needed. Can you please suggest what kind of sample code I should write for the second step?
I am looking forward to your guidance and mentoring.
Thank you.
