I think we'll need to configure Renovate a little bit going forward - Stencil always releases a new minor version for new versions of TypeScript. By default, our merging strategy uses the commit title + msg when we squash and merge. This means this PR (as is) won't get merged as a 'feat()', but rather a 'chore()'. This can cause this to be skipped by our changelog generator/be omitted entirely. I'll put something in the backlog to fix this issue this quarter (before we support TS 5.4). For this PR, I think we can get it in a merge-able state, then rewrite its commit msg right before we merge it. |

Unfortunately it seems that our Karma setup is not compatible with TypeScript v5.3. Some research has shown that Given that Karma is not user facing and setup to use compiled (with TS v5.3) Stencil components I feel confident that this has no impact on the credibility of our tests. |
