Testing fsautocomplete in command line

The language server stops working on neovim without giving any error message.

Is there a way to test run fsautocomplete using commands?
I want to see whether it is a problem of neovim or fsautocomplete.

Nvim has :LspLog and co, you also can set the needed logging level for both protocol as well as server (via settings of whatever client you're using).

:LspLog gives nothing

When I try hovering a value, I get a status message man.lua: "no manual entry for [valueName]", but :LspLog or :LspInfo doesn't give errors.
