Notification spam

I basically have the same sort of problem as described in #308 - However I'm opening a new issue about it as AFAICT the notifications are still show on a thread with more than 10 people, and I can't find a mute note button. Was this functionality removed when Iris merged code base with Snort?

Also to note is that the thread I'm in is so long that if you click on a notified post, the browser tab will hang from trying to load the thread...
