I feel I'm missing something simple

I went thru the wiki linux installation on a linode web server and everything seems to be running as listed as success in the guide. However I can not see the folders under torrents in the library search and even adding them manual doesn't seem to work. I've followed the video example, selecting a video, adding it to the playlist , however after I see no way to play the video. I feel like I have the server running with plex_debrid, but I'm missing something adding it to my personal plex and playing content.
