Question -- should I run Plex Debrid in Docker if I don't run Plex in Docker? #627

This isn't exactly what you are asking, but it might help. I was a little confused on something similar when I implemented it. I have just about everything running on Unraid Docker on Machine A and Plex running directly from Ubuntu on Machine B. My first attempt was to run RClone & Plex Debrid in Dockers on Machine A. The streaming experience was terrible. I'm assuming because of the latency introduced by having the RClone on Machine A and running Plex from Machine B. I'm not sure if running PD in a Docker contributed at all. Using the Linux instructions and installing it directly on the same machine with Plex (both RClone and Plex Debrid) made it much better. |

Sorry if this is an obvious question, but I want to tinker with Plex Debrid on my Synology 920+ and I'm not sure if I should follow the Docker instructions or the Linux instructions.
I run pretty much everything in Docker, except Plex. I run Plex natively. Does that mean I should not run Plex Debrid in Docker?
Or does it not make a difference?
Thanks for the help.
