Basically it would be nice to expose the compilation options / flags etc to support things like flycheck-clang-analyzer

I'd be happy to work on a PR for this if someone could point me in the right direction :)

Hey author of ivy-xref ! (I use it for workspace/symbol)

BTW,
Have you also checked out lsp-ui-flycheck.el? It still have performance issue

Yes I use lsp-ui-flycheck - sometimes I find it slow, other times it seems fine...
