Summary:

  • Client keybinding "profiles" that one can select to quickly change between 2 or more setups.

Reason:
I play minecraft with a large number of mods, as many using forge do, and often I need to change my keybinding setup depending on what I'm doing/using at the time to make logical hotkey options within reach while playing. For example, there are many occasions where I'm not using mounts of any kind, and the keybindings for some mod-added flying mounts would be nice to use for other things, like mod-added tool sets for configuring machines.

For me specifically, I have a young daughter who I often hold while she naps and manage to play one-handed by changing around 7 keybindings to my number pad/mouse buttons that I wouldn't normally have set there if my left hand is free. Being able to quickly toggle those changes by changing keybinding profile would be great. ^_^

I'm aware that my situation may be a bit niche, but even so I think this could be useful for a lot of people.

I'd love to see keybinding profiles per server that automatically switch
