Breaking codebase into smaller modules ?

Hello,

I often have the need only to use Events, Models and Collections on my projects, without using Views, Router, History or Sync. Are there any plans on breaking the Backbone code-base into these kind of modules so developers can pick the parts to use ?

Hi @hjortureh! There are not any plans for this, though that shouldn't stop you from picking and choosing what you want to use. You can check out #1598 for precedent here.

Thats good to know. I´m including the whole codebase right now but it feels a bit unnecessary to add size to the page with parts that are never used, thanks for your answers!
