Project lead request

Hello,
Currently there is no assigned people for this project. I would like to volunteer to maintain this project. I use this package as part of my django application. I'm currently in the process of updating my django application to 5.0, but to do so I need that django-polymorphic supports django 5.0.

Instead of creating a fork and having a private version for me, I would like to contribute to the community on this project.

I was the one that first submitted the request to move this project to jazzband, and I have opened a few PRs to update the project to be in line with jazzband guidelines.
