This error occurs when I tried to open up a shadow sprite "sappears" from the "mmaid" (of ANIMALS9.ZTD) folder. There might be a few other sprites (or specifically shadow sprites) that have not been error-tested but this is the only one I know has the issue so far. Is there any reason why the file produces such error?

Interesting, would be good if there was a list of official files with errors.

I tested a lot of them in the past, obviously not all.

I thought - except for one byte - all formats were entirely figured out. So it's either (likely) a bug in the ZT Studio code, or in the file itself.

I happened to came across this issue because I intended to use the sprites as a sort of reference in animation for a future Zoo Tycoon 2 Mod Project. I took a look at the file with a hex editor. There's a lot of 00s at the start just after the color palette directory so I'm not sure if it's of any relevance. I messed a bit and it's able to recognise the height and width as well as frame speed so a certain byte caused an error? Other shadow sprites of an entity work but not for this particular one.
