update issues

Hi, my feeds don't update automatically in the New Entries page (regardless if I choose the option to update in background when closing app or not). I have to go to each individual feed page from the menu for that feed to update and download new content. It'd be ideal if it does all this automatically (when opening up the app)
I'm on Android 11, Oneplus 8, Oxygen OS 11.0.8.8
