Not sure whether this belongs in main repo or here. I run JF 10.10.3. TVDB 18.0.0.0

I click to inspect or play a recently added item, this traceback is logged consistently. I can play the item when accessed via its season/program grouping, however.

Can provide more info if necessary. It does not seem to be a stale info thing: these wer added possibly 1 hour before the logged times.

I have the same issue. Jellyfin server throws this exception when I try to play the file, or even look at the properties/metadata. (The first 6-7 lines of the exception are the same, I didn't compare the rest).

I have a library folder (type 'Other') that new downloads go into. Sometimes I want to play an episode once and then remove it, so I don't have a Show/Season folder structure for those shows. For shows where I've downloaded the whole season at once, they are in a subfolder for the show (sometimes with subfolders for seasons, sometimes not). The files in a subfolder for the show work fine, the files that are 'loose' are not.

Locating the files through the 'folders' view option did not help.

I had a file that threw this exception, I created a folder for it and moved it in, then was able to play it with no issues.

I created a folder 'Misc' and copied the files into there. Jellyfin identified it as some Anime show, when I removed all of the metadata the folder showed up as a show with one unknown season, and the individual files were in there and could be played.

I'd like to be able to play these files directly from the top-level folder without having to move them. I should be able to play it even if TvDB has no idea what it is.

(JellyFin 10.10.3, TvDB 18.0.0.0. I am new to Jellyfin)
