Auto indenting for bullet list

When entering a bullet list, most times I want to add multiple items. When I enter an indented item I have to add spaces before the next item.

Describe the solution you'd like

It would be great if, for bullet lists, there was an option to auto-indent. When entering indented bullet list items the cursor would start where the previous indent was. This is a feature of Gedit, which I believe also uses GtkSourceview.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Multiple spaces, which gets tedious when entering multiple bullets, with multiple indents
