To overcome this error, I disabled 'Avoid sending files that have not changed' in the global Jenkins parameters section 'Publish over ssh'.

this works here as well, but I am kept wondering why... :-)

not a valid answer, yes that work but in my case we get more than 3k file that upload on more than 7 dedicated server each time .... that made loos us around 20 ~ 30 minutes at each merge ..... that slow us and some days made us unable to release ou software in the time due to huge amount of merge ...

the real good answer is ask us to contrib on the project by tell us where look around to fix that huge issue ....

sorry for my english i'm french ^^'
