Google play app version #241

Same issue here |
@TOXINUWU I can't reproduce this on my phone. What version of Android are you on? |
@jeroen1602 I'm on android 13 |
And is this problem for V2 lighthouses of V1 vive base stations? |
@jeroen1602 it is a problem with the V2 Base Station. I do not own any v1 base station, so im unsure if it is happening with v1s as well. |
Same here. Using Android 13 with V2 base stations. I thought it was my phone or something so I reverted to an older version of the app on F-Droid and now it works. |
I've tried 3 phones wither Android 11, 13, and 14. |

As of Android 12 you don't have to ask for location permissions anymore. And it would be weird for your device to find the device and then not be able to communicate with it. |
Than other than that I have no idea what is wrong with the app past 1.2.0 |
It looks like the problem is that for some reason the state can't be retrieved which stops it from knowing what state to switch to. @TOXINUWU can you try the newest 1.3.1 version after giving the lighthouses a hard reset? And can you still switch the state from the unknown state dialog/ from the metadata page? |
How do you hard reset the base station |
Unplug the power and re plug the power |
No, It did not work. |
I'm going to download the project at version 1.2.0 and just compare and hope I see something suspicious |
@TOXINUWU I made a release that has some changes to hopefully help with debugging. It has some limitations, like only finding 1 device and only being able to find lighthouses. After finding a device go to the side drawer and there should be an extra option for the logs that you can then copy. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WsvsfiPNXCFJG_rkooBBie2OrscpJUHx?usp=drive_link |

I'm experiencing the same issues, also since the December update via Play Store. Same app version (1.3.1), same firmware version as above. Phone is a Xiaomi 13U, though, so the issue isn't Samsung-specific. Addendum: If I go back to 1.2.0, it does work again. |
I had to go back to 1.2.0 as well, 1.3.1 was not working anymore. Android 12 here (Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro). |
I am not sure what happened or if it is a me issue, but ever since the app got updated on the 9th of December, my base stations have been unresponsive from the app. but if I use the website, my base station will turn off turn on, and everything just not in the app I've tried reinstalling the app messing around with settings but with no luck.
