dtool-gui-tk:

uses json-schema metadata templates to manage the metadata creation process
the json-schema metadata templates do not allow nested structures
stores metadata items in both the readme and as annotations

dtool-create:

uses YAML templates to manage the metadata creation process
YAML template allow for the creation of nested metadata items
metadata is only stored in the readme
annotations are created using dtool-annotation; annotations are not reflected in the readme

Harmonize the way that these two manage the metadata creation process.
