I am having issue as well getting the service to start with 2022Express.

I am ok to have 2019 working. So I thought let's uninstall but the setup keeps hanging on SQLEngineConfigAction_remove_validation_Cpu64

Running an MS X-Elite with Snapdragon(R) X 12-core X1E80100 processor
