Hint mode letters misaligned when using vrome zoom (zi, zo)

When I use the vrome zoom commands (like zi or zo commands), then the letters from the hint mode (f command) are still aligned to where the links where before zooming in/out.

I have noticed when I use the zoom functionality in chrome itself, it works as expected. The vroom zoom functionality doesn't seem to affect the chrome zoom setting.
