Kind of unfortunate naming coincidence has Superfish the malware/adware in the news right now, for very, very bad reasons. Might be worth throwing a disclaimer at the top of your README.md to make it very clear this isn't related, since this repo is about halfway into page 1 of a Google search for "superfish".

Thanks for the alert about this. While the Superfish menu plugin predates the annoying malware stuff, I've been aware of the unfortunate double up for many years.

I suppose you're right about adding a disclaimer. Pull requests are very welcome if some kind person would like to save me the trouble.

I think it is time for a name change.

I do agree with that, A name change would be very appreciated as some of my client website are now getting popup notification about a superfish virus caused by the js script name. Probably fairly crappy anti-virus indeed... Still it's a bit annoying. Maybe just rename the JS script file

This is troubling. I wonder if we can find out which anti-virus software is doing this and have them fix the false positive?

Changing the JS file name may not be enough as the containing superfish folder may still trigger the anti-virus bug. Or the even the code itself, which contains the word "superfish".

I renamed mine superfishmenus.js and so far so good, no complains.

But I don't know what AV it was since it a client that complains that is clients had virus popup...

If I hear about it again I'll try to gather more information and I'll post it here.
