I just tried both Trixie and Sid, and none of them worked. Surprisingly, the behaviour is slightly different: Trixie shuts down completely (same as Bookworm) and Sid reboots instead. To me the error message in dmesg seems a lot more obvious than in Bookworm, however I am not an expert, so I can guess that something is wrong with the power management (perhaps, USB PD negotiation?), so I this patch might be somehow related. Booting Debian Trixie
After this the board shuts down and can be started again by pressing the power button. Booting Debian Sid
After this the board reboots and the log repeats. |

Swapping the power supply definitely got me a bit further in the loading proccess, but the result is the same: Trixie shuts down, Sid reboots. Booting Debian Trixie

I have tried multiple different power supplies and SD cards, but the problem persists: the board shuts down during kernel initialization. Official images from Firefly boot fine, so it's unlikely to be a hardware problem. Specifically, my board revision is
ROC-RK3399-PC-V1.1-A
