You can add a page where we can add tasks and track them, such as Google calendar. It can provide a view where we can see our daily activities more comfortably. With future updates, we prefer to use the page you will make instead of a calendar that does not care about privacy such as google calendar.

Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding!

I would love that too.. an all in one superProducticity software, without sharing your private data to Google or Microsoft:/
Currently I'm using two separate software for Task & Event managing, but this feature, a full calendar with monthly-, weekly-, workdays- & day-view, a sidebar where you can drag and drop your tasks ... in superProductivity... would be awesome!

Think about it... private, self-sufficient, and efficient software, iterally for "super productivity".
I think this feature would be so great that it would even compete with Google Calendar & Outlook:)

I think new added calendar view is good but there is issue like this:

Possible solution:

I don't know everybody would agree with me but tasks set at the same time look better sorted from bottom to top.

I don't know everybody would agree with me but tasks set at the same time look better sorted from bottom to top.

it sure would, but then you have a problem fitting items where they belong. The logic for positioning the items is not trivial as is. Needing to add extra vertical space is quite complicated and it might be confusing to, since every block represents a specfic time span. I am open for suggestions though.

Wouldn't it be easier to read if it were sorted from left to right then?

Can you elaborate why you think that? Personally I find the opposite more intuitive since the beginning of a task title usually tends to be a bit more telling about its purpose (at least in german and english) and since you usually read from left to right.

Because I can't read the bottom task as you can see in the screenshot from my previous comment.
There you go, I've found an example for you: (look at "Dinner" and "Travel Home" tasks; they're more aligned and much easier to read.)

Sorry, @Cyber-Syntax I still don't understand the sort order thing. Isn't the sort order the same? Or is it about the longest task, that should be sorted first? Currently the order is determined by the order the tasks have in the today list or on the planner page, which also makes sense to me, although I can see why visually it might be better to sort the longest task first.

There is definitely room for improvement to make items more readable e.g. maybe by giving more margin to the second item if there is only 2, or experimenting with the positioning and size of the items.

That's it.
