How to add a blog to TumblThree #345
Comments
Try to turn on the clipboard monitor and then copy the links, the program should automatically add blogs. |
Can it be that you have accidentally added additional white space before, after of between the url you've posted above when entering it into the textbox at the bottom left? When I try to copy that url into the box, it works just fine. The button becomes active, I can add the blog. |
I'm having the same problem as well, I can't add any blogs and while the option isn't greyed out the add blog button doesn't do anything. |
Also having this issue. it will only ungrey the button if the link has the form "ww.tumblr.com/blog/...", "w.tumblr.com/blog/...", or ".tumblr.com/blog/...". Any link that is not like that will not enable the add-blog button. |
Can it be that you have no write permissions in your "Download location"? Where did you extract TumblThree to? Did you change your "Download location" in the Settings? If you have extracted TumblThree into C:\Program Files.. it will not work if it has no write permissions, because per default it tries to write into a sub folder called Blogs\ which it cannot as started as a user under C:\Program Files.. This is also mentioned in the "Advices for new users" issue I've opened exactly for this. |
That is the wrong format.
For some reason I never noticed that you apparently can get to "regular/normal" blogs with the url http://www.tumblr.com/blog/nature-e thats why this is not implemented, instead of only http://nature-e.tumblr.com/. |
I'm saying if I post in "https://www.tumblr.com/blog/...", it will not allow it to be added. Only if I change the link to one of the three options listed will the add button enable. It refuses to take the link if it is actually correct. |
That's exactly what i wrote and got in the post above. Until this url scheme is allowed to be added as well, you'll have to use the other one, which results to the same thing. As I said above, instead of: where |
Hey
I tried adding a few different blogs, starting with this one. http://nprfreshair.tumblr.com/
The Option Add Blog is grey and I can't even click it. I haven't changed anything at all within the program, only installed it. Help?
