Raspberry pi pico

Any thoughts on creating a ebus hardware interface using the raspberry pi pico? It is very low cost and easy to get hold of so would result in a low cost board with very few components.
It has:

• two cores so would replace the need for a pic microcontroller
• programmable IO for high speed real time protocols
• usb
• WiFi / Bluetooth
